Are you an organization that wants to provide AI access to all employees without sharing your master API key or managing individual budgets?
We recommend deploying an open-source AI Gateway like LiteLLM or Cloudflare AI Gateway. These gateways act as a secure proxy between Alternate QA and your AI providers.
- Host the gateway on your own infrastructure (100% control over your data).
- Configure your master provider keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) directly in the gateway.
- Issue individual Virtual Keys to your employees with set budgets and limits.
How to connect your AI Gateway:
- Go to the Settings page in Alternate QA.
- Open the AI Config tab.
- Select Local / Custom as your provider.
- Enter your Gateway's endpoint URL in the Base URL field (e.g.,
https://litellm.yourcompany.com/v1). - Enter the Virtual Key in the API Key field.
Note: Alternate QA does not host, manage, or support your AI Gateway. The gateway remains your own infrastructure and responsibility, ensuring maximum security for your master keys.
